# Article import

Instead of pasting, you can import an article by URL or upload a file. The imported text lands in the editor so you can trim it before planning.

## Import by link (sign-in required)

Site-specific extraction rules exist for:

- WeChat Official Accounts / 微信公众号 (mp.weixin.qq.com)
- CSDN (blog.csdn.net and *.csdn.net)
- Zhihu / 知乎 (zhuanlan.zhihu.com and zhihu.com)
- Juejin / 掘金 (juejin.cn)
- Substack, cnblogs / 博客园, Jianshu / 简书, SegmentFault / 思否

Other pages (Medium, personal blogs, docs) are extracted with Mozilla Readability, falling back to the page body. Headings, lists and code blocks are kept as Markdown.

- Limits: 60 imports per account per day; public http(s) URLs only; 20-second fetch timeout; very large pages are rejected.
- Some sites block automated access. InkDoo retries anti-bot walls where it can; if a page still cannot be fetched (or is deleted / login-only), paste the text instead.

## Upload a file

- .md, .txt and .html up to 2 MB; .docx up to 10 MB (embedded images are ignored).
- Text is read in the browser (UTF-8 or GB18030).

## Length

80–12,000 characters, Chinese or English. Longer text is truncated with a notice.
